The Tazmanian Tiger

RAAAAWWWWWRRRRRR!

That’s the scream of the fearsome Tasmanian Tiger! The Tasmanian Tiger or Thylacine (it's proper name) was a very cool animal. I say was because unfortunately they are extinct. Like Sasquatch however, there's probably a few folks out there that believe they still exist. The Thylacine was a big bad carnivorous marsupial(animals with pouches, like kangaroos) They grew up to 9ft(2.74m) nose to tail and could weigh close to 100 pounds (45kg), large enough to kill and eat a human. The Thylacine lived in Tasmania, hence its street name, as well as Australia and New Guinea. In current news there's an upcoming film called "The Hunter" starring Wilhem Defoe and Sam Neil about a man who is charged with hunting a Thylacine. The Thylacine will be played by Andy Serkis (rumored)
