Gerber Knives Apocalypse collection

This is a set of survival tools created by Gerber knives as part of their Apocalypse Collection. They were featured on an episode of AMC's The Walking Dead as a zombie killing kit and have created a little buzz from this. The tools that make up the set look high quality with simple designs and they are relatively inexpensive. Its always good to be prepared for the Apocalypse and zombie attacks and these will keep you one step closer to survival.

  1. Dude if they would only sell them as a set they would make so much more money. Don't cha think? I write a blog called the girls guide to the Apocalypse and I have to tell ya, There is not alot of stuff out there for women to handle. If you come across anything a chick my like or need during the end of days. let me know or drope a mention. Thanks

    1. Kiki Stilletto, I agree with you they should offer the entire set it would be a good addition to any knife collection. In the show The Walking Dead the set was contained in a cool canvas bag called a knife "roll" can't find that either. SOG makes a knife called the Flash I pink with assisted opening that may serve your needs. The girl's guide to the apocalypse is an excellent blog. Great job.

  4. These knives look very enticing. Gerber knives would be a better addition in my knife collection. I have a collection of knives including cold steels knives and buck knives. Is there an update about the lastest Gerber knives?

    1. Gerber has been releasing many new multi-tools that look pretty nice. They are also expanding their Bear Grylls branded collections and have a great sharpening solution called the Downrange sharpener coming soon. We will be doing posts about each very soon so stay tuned. Thanks for your comment.

  5. These are great survival tools. Gerber has been adding new tools in their series. I would like to collect knives as well. Camping is my hobby, and I think a gerber knife would be a good companion for survival. by the way, my friend has cold steel throwing knives, and they all look good as well.

    1. Thanks for the comment. Gerber makes a great variety of camping gear, multitools, and knives that are functional and collectible. For other similar companies check out CRKT, Boker, and SOG they are great too. Did you know you can buy many similar products from the site AllCoolTools.com?
Here is an article we did about some throwing knives and a throwing knife expert http://www.allcoolshit.com/2012/03/2-great-throwing-knives-and-expert.html

  6. Kyocera blades were propelled in Japan in 1984. Regardless of their profoundly specialized creation, Kyocera think nothing can supplant talented craftsmanship and numerous years encounter, in this manner all Kyocera earthenware blades are exclusively ground by hand. knifegeeky
